Today should have been the big shopping day with Simona. This was planned about 2 months ago and was to be a reward for losing masses of weight. Well, a little bit of weight has been lost. So, in more than one sense, all is not lost.
I was almost looking forward to finding out if there was anything on the high street which I could again squeeze my purple bottom into. Well, almost. I was still freaking out about the mirrors and ‘Madams’ and mannequins.
However, today was also supposed to be the big trial day. This afternoon, when Simona and I were shopping; The Little Perfect One should have been spending a ‘settling-in session’ with the childminder.
Then down came the snow and washed it all away...
Well, neither Simona nor I were up for driving in it and it really didn’t make sense to just to send The Little Perfect One away for the afternoon.
Bit fed up about the clothes, but so relieved that I get to pretend that TLPO doesn’t have to leave my side for a bit longer.
The latest news with The Big Ugly is that they are certainly still Big and definitely getting Uglier. Also, a ‘specialist engineer’ will be coming out on Thursday and he will fix the issue. ‘100% guaranteed’.
