Hoobiz was detained for a mere two hours last night at The Big Ugly’s pleasure, but it seems as a result of this we now have another Engineer booked for Wednesday December 8th. There was no mention of him being a Specialist, so we haven’t completely given up hope.
So it was especially odd that Hoobiz received a call from The Big Ugly, when we were driving back from visiting friends this afternoon.
‘Just calling, Sir, to check if your Broadband is now working?’, said the mobile voice of Big Ugly.
‘No’, Hoobiz replies, ’No, as you know very well, it’s not working and the next engineer is coming out to us on Wednesday.’
‘Actually Sir, I don’t think this is on The Big Ugly side. The fault is definitely not on The Big Ugly side, Sir. Goodbye’ He said and then hung-up.
It was like a pre-teen prank call. ‘Your Mum’s got a big fat Bum! Ha!Ha! Na-na-na-na-na-na! With brass knobs on!’
Hoobiz did then call back to confirm that the case was still open and the engineer was still set to pop in for a cup of tea on Wednesday.
